Designated parking area approx 150m walk from the cabin. Luggage barrow provided for the walk along the path and through the field to the Koppla cabin. It’s a good idea to wear wellies for this part of the journey. It can get muddy in the winter. Please don’t feed the animals.

Rainfall shower | Sink | Storage shelves | Dry toilet. A dry toilet is very sustainable. It looks exactly the same as a normal toilet, but without water or any chemicals and has an extraction fan. Faeces and urine are collected separately in the toilet, avoiding unpleasant odours. Per flush you save of 6 to 9L of water. The full explanation can be found in the manual located inside the cabin.

Clothing

Bring as little luggage as possible to the cabin. The less you bring, the more rest you will find. Apart from the obvious it’s a good idea to bring wellies, walking boots and warm / waterproof clothes. The cabins have a log burner and small electric heater to keep you warm. They are also very well insulated.

Our tap water is safe to drink. All other drinks can be bought from the Shell Garage at the bottom of the main drive.

We value safety very highly. The cabins are located away from the busy world, but always in a safe and accessible place in nature. You can lock your cabin safely, both from the inside and outside.

The cabins are equipped with a high-tech smoke detector, carbon monoxide alarm and a fire blanket for emergencies.

A first-aid kit is located under the sink.
